Moving on to our end of August anticipated event of the summer....DRUM ROLL PLEASE....The Jordanelle Triathlon! Boy was that crazy! But so so so much fun! I actually loved it. Toward the end I was really getting annoyed with all the training, especially all the bike stuff! IT really has been a hassle, not to mention expensive! Shoes, helmets, bike shoes, bikes, swimming passes, wet suits and then training training training! Well, we finally did it and accomplished it too! The first thing out of Erics mouth was, "that will be the last time I do that!" He did so well though, I was really proud he did great! AND he could of almost beat me if he wouldn't have used his transition areas as breaks! Most people transition from swim to bike in a little under a 1min 30 sec. But Eric used about 6 minutes to rest...and go to the bathroom...and wait for me. Funny that guy:) Oh! I forgot to mention the wetsuits...yah the wetsuits. Well originally the suits were going to cost us $45 to rent for one day! So I was like "NO WAY, I WILL FREEZE, I AM NOT SPENDING ANYMORE MONEY ON THIS THING!" However, I found wetsuits to rent for $12...the only catch...they were white water rafting wetsuits! HA funny! Eric and I looked like the biggest geeks in the tri! ENJOY THE PICS OF THAT. All in all we both finished and did great... Im ready for another one! And I told myself if I get another job soon enough, I can do the next one September 9! Cross your fingers I find a job soon!
